"A Homage to Nonna’s House II" is a collection of works that honors the memories of my grandparents home; a thoughtfully curated space filled with mid-century Danish furniture, beautiful handmade ceramics, amongst the art and silver jewellery made by my grandfather, Nonno."

‘I consider myself as a maker and craftsman. I aim to reach a point of understanding through processes of making with materials from a systematic approach. The act of labour and simplicity of repetition is the core of my practice which evidences the work; a dialogue between myself and the items I make, between the workshop, the process and what I choose to display. I reveal the conversation I have with myself as a craft practitioner, a visual language of form and function, materiality and value, practice and patience, light and shadow.’
Karl Sebastian is a London-based maker. He studied Fine Art Sculpture at the University of Brighton, where he was taught to work in a multitude of materials. In 2023, he completed a MA in Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art.
