The ability to hold a moment

They say the secret to a good portrait is in the eyes and there couldn't be a more powerful yet soft stare captured here in Daniel Oruwhone's 'Oshare'. A painterly surface not just full of life but seeming to hold a moment between you.

Born in 1996, Daniel is an artist based in Nigeria. After receiving a Diploma in Art and Design from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Nigeria in 2017, his work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Nigeria, the USA and France.

Great share! Wow, this post really captivated me and allowed me to hold onto a moment in a unique way. The image here reminds me of the megalophobia test, evoking a sense of awe and fascination. The sheer scale depicted in the picture is both intimidating and intriguing, making it a perfect subject for anyone interested in exploring the limits of their comfort zones. I appreciate how the post not only sparks curiosity but also provides an opportunity for self-reflection.
